Calm the redness — for skin that stops blushing.
Long-pulsed Nd:YAG and pulsed-dye laser for facial redness, broken capillaries (telangiectasia), rosacea, port-wine stains and angiomas. Targets blood vessels — leaves skin untouched.
What it is, plainly.
Persistent facial redness, broken capillaries on the cheeks/nose, the diffuse flush of rosacea — none of these respond well to creams. They are vascular conditions: visible blood vessels in the dermis. They need a tool that targets blood and ignores skin.
Long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser is precisely that tool. Its 1064nm wavelength is selectively absorbed by haemoglobin — the vessel heats, collapses and is cleared by the body over the next 4–6 weeks. Surrounding skin is untouched.
Dr. Anitha treats vascular conditions weekly — calibrating fluence, pulse duration and spot size to your specific lesion. Almost all redness responds. Some patients clear in one session, most need two to three.
Conditions and concerns we address.
- Rosacea (papulopustular & erythematotelangiectatic)
- Broken capillaries on nose & cheeks
- Diffuse facial redness
- Cherry angiomas (red dots)
- Spider veins / leg veins (small)
- Port-wine stains
- Reactive flushing
- Persistent post-acne erythema
Step-by-step, no surprises.
Lesion Mapping
Photography under cross-polarised light maps every vessel — and tracks clearance objectively after.
Cooling & Numbing
Cold-air or contact cooling protects skin. Topical numbing is optional — most patients tolerate the laser without.
Selective Photothermolysis
1064nm pulses delivered to each vessel. You feel a brief 'snap' — no pain afterwards.
Immediate Response
Vessels darken or disappear instantly. Some show a transient bruise that fades in 48 hours.
Clearance
Body clears collapsed vessels over 4–6 weeks. Re-image at week 6, treat residual vessels.
Maintenance
Skin needs SPF and barrier care to prevent new vessels. Rosacea benefits from oral therapy alongside laser.

Common questions, clear answers.
Will my rosacea come back?
The redness we treat does not reappear in the same vessels — but rosacea is a chronic condition that produces new vessels over time. Annual touch-ups maintain results.
Is it the same as IPL?
Both work for redness, with overlap. Long-pulsed Nd:YAG is more precise for individual vessels and safer for darker skin tones; IPL covers larger diffuse zones.
Any bruising?
Mild and rare with Nd:YAG. Pulsed-dye laser bruises more reliably (lasts 7 days) but clears stubborn lesions faster — we choose based on your priority.
Can pregnant women have this?
We avoid elective laser during pregnancy. Postpartum + finished breastfeeding is fine.
